The Gingerbread House is a Pekingese and similar small-breed sanctuary and rescue located in northern New Jersey. We welcome all small-breed pups that need a new home, and we are passionate about saving senior and hospice pups that have special needs due to their age or medical conditions and that would likely be put down if left in a shelter. While in our care, we provide for their ongoing veterinary care, medication, food, continence care, grooming, and training. The Gingerbread House is a 501c3 non-profit organization and is 100% volunteer and foster based. All donations are 100% tax deductible.

Why not do good twice! Our founder started a vintage designer bag auction fundraising event for The Gingerbread House Sanctuary & Rescue that snowballed into Hauge Vintage. What better way to help save dogs than vintage designer bags!
Haute Vintage is the primary supporter of The Gingerbread House, a New Jersey 501c3 nonprofit organization dedicated to giving abandoned and neglected senior dogs a second chance at life. Literally every purchase you make helps fund their mission and pay the medical bills. They save the worst cases of neglect and abuse and spare no expense for food, medical care, medication, and supportive care in a loving foster home, so these seniors have the very best of everything for their remaining time.
